Savannah is an ER nurse, dealing with the wrath of an ex, named Butch, who by the way is a member of The Devil's Dominion. On a fateful night Butch demands she pack up everything she owns and follow him to Washington DC, she agrees but not without a fight, and I mean a fight. Cut to two years later and she's finally had enough of Butch, but he's not had enough of her.
After being verbally, physically and mentally abused by Butch for years, she's decided she's had enough, but Butch won't back down. In steps Nick, who refuses to let anything happen to a lady. I have to say, I've read other A.D books in the past but this one really just sucked me in! I was fully invested in Nick and Savannah's story. I will say if you have triggers with abuse, then this book isn't for you. The development of the characters and their stories is insanely good, I loved the heat and love that develops between these two! Great job A.D!!!
