I unplant one hand from the wall behind her and drag my finger over the wet path before stroking my fingers over her silky dark hair.

Her breath shudders and my lips turn up in a devious grin. I affect her just as she does me. I'm sure of it.

But, there's only one way to know for sure.

I gather her long strands in my fist and tug sharply, jerking her nearer. A small gasp escapes her, yet she makes no move to push me away.

Interesting. So very interesting.

With her trembling lips only a hairsbreadth away from mine, she asks, "What... what are you doing?"

I give her hair a hard yank, leveraging her mouth to mine. "Anything I want, little mouse." I rasp the words against her pillowy lips, so soft and tempting. Full and pink. They'd look phenomenal with my dick sliding in and out of them.

"Get away from me," she says, even as she clutches at the front of my shirt, pulling me closer.

Her pupils are blown wide with want and I can practically feel her heart thundering in her chest.

"Now, you don't mean that." I wedge my right thigh between hers to drive home my point.

"Don't..." she protests weakly. Her fight is giving way to the white hot need churning between us. I can tell she hates the way she reacts to me, but damn if this delicious development doesn't open a million new doors, each one a straight shot to her demise.

5 Dark and twisted Stars!  Wowzers!!!  That was a seriously intense read... but I can't wait for more!

West is tormented daily by his father's past but he hides it with his angel face.  But looks are deceiving as they say.  He ready to start his school year at his elite prep school and when he sees new girl Blue, he knows he's going to ruin her time at school.  And he has his reasons, which he think makes sense to him.  Blue is the new girl to the prep school and she's not like the normal students that attend there, she's there on scholarship and for that reason she knows to just go to school and keep her head down and not bother anyone.  So when she starts to get bullied by West she's confused and just doesn't understand.  And that's just the beginning.

This book is dark and tormented.  Don't go into this book expecting hearts and flowers because that's not what you are going to get.  The two characters feed off each others darkness and somehow it works for them.  And as much as you want to murder West... you secretly pull for him.  And Blue, she's just so beautiful... I mean there's no other words.  What a great start to the series!

“I fucking hate you, you know that?” His words come out a taut, restrained, and he stares straight into my eyes, delivering the blow. I guess I’m becoming immune to his antics, because I just nod my head, biting back the smile that desperately wishes to break free.

Maybe you do. But not nearly as much as you wish…

“And you’re still going to give me the most precious thing you’ve got right now, even knowing I’ve got no love for you? Knowing I don’t even like you, not even a little bit?”

I roll my eyes. If he’s trying to scare me away, to make me second guess myself, it’s not going to work. And if that’s the case, I think that speaks more to his own shitshow of feelings and not being able to sort through them, than anything I’ve done.

“Steph says sex angry sex is the best. I’m betting hate sex might be even better…” I shoot him a cocky smirk.

GEMINI JENSEN’s love for reading began at a young age, and her love for writing was born not long after she learned how to put pen to paper. When she was in 2nd or 3rd grade, she won a poetry contest for all the elementary students in her county.
