"Oh, shit, get a load of this," Sunday hollered from behind her computer. "Someone finally came forward and gave a tell-all on that recluse billionaire, Alex Ruehle. Apparently, he has lots of women, and they all know about each other."
"And they don't care?" Adeline asked.
"No. Doesn't seem like it," Sunday confirmed.
Sunday
"If they don't care, then neither should we, let's move on." Melanie huffed.
"Wait, wait." Sunday held up one hand. "It's his pet names for the women that people are freaking out over. They have a hierarchy, and the one with the most seniority is called Clam One. The next is Clam Two."
"Did you say clam?" Adeline slid one hand down her long ponytail.

"Yep. And they know it, and they refer to themselves as it. He has five in total. Well, maybe four now since it was Clam Five who gave the tell-all."
"Can you imagine being called Clam?" Adeline asked. "Or worse, having your man say, I'm going to eat that clam, Clam."
"So, if he screws up and calls Clam Two Clam Three by mistake, is that a clam jam?" Olivia asked.
"No, I think if Clam Three shows up when it is Clam Two's time, then it is a clam jam, sort of like a cock block." Olivia was laughing so hard she could barely get the words out. "I wonder what he bought them for Christmas. The finest Eau De Clam Juice?"
"Pearl necklaces?" Olivia offered.
"Go, let me read in peace." Sunday smiled at her friends.
"Hey, this is some funny shit right here, they should add our commentary in those gossip rags." Adeline walked over and gave Sunday a hug. "Besides, you don't read in peace. You always read aloud. Normally, we just don't bother commenting. This was really too good to let pass."
"If we can get Sunday off the computer for five minutes maybe we can discuss . . . I don't know, work?" Melanie asked.
"Fine. You have my undivided attention. Shoot.”

“Mr. Camden, they're boarding your flight." Bo looked up at the woman who'd helped him earlier. "Thank you." He grabbed his carry-on and headed toward his gate. When he arrived, most of the area had already cleared out. He scanned his boarding pass and headed down the gangway. "Welcome aboard," a flight attendant greeted him. "Thank you." When he saw who was sitting in two d, against the window where she would be locked in by him once he sat, he smiled. This flight was going to be interesting. Sunday saw him and ducked as if that could possibly hide her. Finding entirely too much joy in her rather pathetic attempt, he stowed his carry-on and took his seat. "Fancy seeing you here." "What the hell? I thought you were headed to New York." "Yeah, and I thought that my dad was going to New York so I invited you along, guess you were laughing at me the entire time." "No. After you left, I went to book my flight for New York, but before I did, I wanted to find out what time your dad arrived so I checked the executive airport and discovered that he was going to the Caymans instead." "You could have called me and let me know." "How? I only know you as the crazy stalker who followed me home. I don't exactly have your cell number." Sunday looked smug. "Really? You can find my dad's flight times, don't tell me that you couldn't have found my number." Bo smiled wider. Mental hash mark, one to him. "By the way, do you even know where you're going once you get on the island?" Sunday raised one brow in challenge. "If I can find a flight plan, then I can find a reservation." “Yet not a cell phone number," Bo mumbled. "It wasn't intentional. Besides, why are you bitching? Obviously, you lied about New York because you're on this flight too. And to answer your other question, I'm going to the Ritz." "I'm only on this flight because I saw you coming through TSA and texted my mom to let her know that you would be out of town with me in New York. She's who told me you were going to the Caymans." "Well, aren't you a regular Sherlock Holmes." "Listen, I know that we got off on the wrong foot, let's start over." Bo held out one hand. "Truce?" Sunday stared at it and debated. "Sure, now because you want it? I tried this yesterday." "You did, and I acted like an ass. Truce or not?" "Fine, truce." Sunday shook on it. "So, why PI work?" Bo turned in his seat so that he could get a better view of Sunday. “It wasn't originally what I wanted, but I met the other three my third year of college and we became best friends. Olivia and Adeline were studying criminal justice, Melanie was working on a degree in psychology, and I was studying cyber forensics." "Does Melanie analyze the clients, watch for body language and stuff like that?" Bo asked, totally enthralled. "Sort of, Mel studies their patterns and habits. You know, like a profiler." "That's kind of cool. Tell me about cyber forensics. What is that like?" "Have you ever watched a movie where they confiscate someone's computer?" "Of course." "It is a cyber forensics team that goes through the hard drive and can recover, rebuild, or decipher everything that device has done.” “And that's something you like to do?" Bo questioned. "It is. I can get lost behind a computer." "I like that, I used to like my job as well." Bo leaned back. He couldn't get over how relaxed he felt with her, the two of them just talking. All it took was calling a truce then in a blink of an eye they went from enemies to . . . what . . . what were they? "You don't like your job anymore?" Sunday appeared genuinely concerned. "When you spend all your time watching what your own father is doing and making sure that he isn't trying to screw the company or your mother over, it sort of takes the fun out of it." Sunday placed one hand on top of his. "I hate this for you. You should be able to trust your parents more than anyone else." "Oh, I trust my mom. She'd do anything for me." Bo and Sunday fell quiet as the flight attendant came to a stop next to them. Her smile was warm as she glanced between them before asking, "Would you folks like a mimosa?" “Sure, thank you." Sunday accepted her drink first, and then Bo took his from the attendant. "A toast?" Sunday smiled and lifted her glass. "Here's to getting lucky in the Caymans." "Okay, I guess that I can drink to that." Bo chuckled. "Oh, I didn't mean like lucky as in lucky, lucky. I meant as in getting lucky and getting exactly what we need for your mother." "Okay, sure. I'm good either way." Bo clinked his glass to Sunday's. "Oh, you shush.”

Sunday

"I really enjoyed our dinner. Thank you for going with me." Bo paused. "Crap, that's my dad's voice, come on." He wrapped Sunday's hand in his and pulled her forward just as his father and the group of men he was with rounded the corner, Bo sank deeper into the bushes, pulling Sunday against him. She glanced up; they were so close, she could feel his warm breath on her face, smell the toasted sugar from the Crème Brûlée they had shared. As swiftly as he had reacted and pulled her into him, he lowered his mouth to hers.
The breeze whipped through her hair, the branches of the shrub poked into her skin, but nothing was going to make her pull away. She couldn't believe that she was acting so scandalous, so unprofessional, so Adeline.
That lost thought made her smile.
Bo didn't break their connection as he opened one eye to stare at her. Sunday wondered if his father had walked past yet.
"Your dad?" She tried to whisper around his lips that were still on hers.
"He's right behind you," Bo whispered against Sunday's lips before resuming his assault on her mouth.
Sunday used these last few seconds, however long she had to examine him, feel him, how firm were his muscles, his chest? She ran one hand along the placket of his shirt, her fingers lightly slipping between the buttons to touch his undershirt. She had been expecting warm skin. The disappointment was like picking up a glass and expecting to drink soda, but after you swallowed, discovering it was plain ole water. It was startling enough to pull Sunday back to her senses. She looked up and realized that Kai was long gone. Her cheeks turned a rosy pink. Bo noticeably stiffened. He must have been bracing himself for her rising anger. But she refused to give it to him--she had wanted that kiss just as much. Instead, she let out a huff and marched off, no shouts, no witty comebacks, nothing.
"Come on, Sunday, please. You can't tell me you didn't like it. It was wonderful. Admit it. I mean . . . I liked it. I wanted to kiss you. I've been wanting to kiss you.”

Bo

He stood under the scorching hot water flow over his body. Maybe it would wake him up and make him realize that sharing a room with Sunday Prescott was a big mistake. The woman had no clue that her innocence was a turn on, making her a bit beguiling. He was allowing the lower half to think for the upper half. But he needed to relieve this pressure, this ache he had for that infuriating woman.
Thoughts of her fiery temper and her bright smile filled his mind as he slid his hand down his growing penis. Squeezing the base, he released a guttural moan. The water sloshing over him aided him as he stroked from the shaft upward, his thumb capturing at the underside of the head.
Her laughter. He stroked slowly and steadily and then quickened.
Her damn scent. He stroked faster as the release built inside him. The way her lips felt on his. The storm that had brewed inside him thundered out with each thrust of his hips into the air, no warm woman, no Sunday.
